Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence Service provides native standards-based, dual-protocol, enterprise instant messaging (IM) and network-based presence as part of Cisco Unified Communications. This secure, scalable, and easy-to-manage service within Cisco Unified Communications Manager offers users feature-rich communications capabilities both within and external to the enterprise.
This 2-day workshop will help you gain skills and knowledge necessary for initial Cisco Unified Communications IM and Presence 10.0 sizing, design, integration, and configuration as well as day-to-day administration and management tasks. It focuses on the initial setup and configuration of Cisco Unified Communications IM and Presence including integrations with LDAP server, databases, CWMS, and Cisco Prime Collaboration. It includes hands-on labs focused on configuration, verification, administration, and testing tasks. Lab exercises are delivered using an equipment-ready environment where students can focus on their specific areas of interests.
