This course provides an update to IBM POWER7 Systems, AIX 7.1 and PowerHA System Mirror 7.1 for experienced POWER5 and AIX 5 administrators. The focus is about the new POWER7 systems offerings, PowerVM virtualization, AIX 6 and AIX 7 Operating System features, and PowerHA 7.1 features. Also the new features like Active Memory Sharing (AMS), Active Memory Expansion (AME) and Virtual I/O Server news are included in this course. The hands-on labs provide additional exposure to the new environment.
